The original station contained one studio in the basement of Miller Hall. It started as a carrier current station using Mount Union's power lines to reach the residence halls. Mount Union's radio station was born Januby a group of Mount Union students. The Public File, along with relevant station information can be found at: WRMU is required by the Federal Communication Commission to maintain a Public File. WRMU is a non-commercial, educational radio station licensed to the Mount Union Board of Trustees. The air signal covers roughly a 20-25 mile radius from campus. WRMU, a student-run station is located at 91.1 on the FM dial and has an effective radiated power of 2,800 watts. The current music format includes pop, rock, oldies, smooth jazz and blues. ![]() ![]() WRMU is "The Radio Voice of Mount Union." The radio station is located in the Hoover-Price Campus.
